Alex De Angelis medical update
Alex De Angelis remains in a critical condition in Japan after his crash during this weekends Motegi Grand Prix.
Earlier today, De Angelis underwent a CT scan on his head and chest at the Dokkyo University Hospital in Tochigi. The scan showed that the intercranial hematoma he suffered was unchanged, with the contusions on his lungs improving. As a result of the very slight signs of improvement, he has had his seduction reduced. The San Maranese rider is conscious and able to talk and is aware of whats going on around him.
The next step for De Angelis will be another CT scan on his head on Wednesday to ensure that the intercranial hematoma is stable, whilst his lung will continue to be monitored.
