Series organisers Dorna, today announced the MotoGP 2016/17 winter testing schedule, as well as the tests for Moto2 and Moto3.

As well as some big names changing teams in 2017, the MotoGP paddock will also welcome KTM to the paddock for the first time in MotoGP, and they will look to build on the 2016 season in Malaysia. Unlike previous years will see riders back in action in January, with the first of the 2017 action getting underway in the last week of January for a three day test, before all heading back to Phillip Island for a further three days in the middle of February.

Much like 2016, the MotoGP paddock will conclude their testing schedule in Qatar, the scene of the opening race of the season, just two weeks before the season is due to get underway in the desert.

The first of the support class testing days will be in Southern Spain at Jerez in the middle of March, before heading to Qatar a week later to follow the MotoGP riders on the Losail International Circuit ahead of the 2017 World Championship.
