Andrea Antonelli killed in Russia

It is with regret that we tell you that today that Andrea Antonelli has been killed in a tragic accident in todays World Supersport race.

The Go Eleven Kawasaki rider fell on the long back straight of the Moscow Raceway in hideous conditions, and unfortunately was struck by the unsighted Lorenzo Zanetti in the spray.

The Italian was Immediately tended to by medical staff at the circuit, it has been confirmed that Antonelli sadly succumbed to his injuries.

As a result, the remainders of todays events at the Moscow Raceway have been cancelled.
