Moto2 & Moto3 numbers must be readable
From 2013 Moto2 and Moto3 riders and bikes will have to have easily readable numbers on their bikes.
Purists have mourned for years from the previously applicable bibs regime in Grand Prix racing, each team had to stick to the colour requirements, such as number black on a yellow background or white number on a green background.
In recent years, the numbers were more involved in the design-sponsors on the bikes, or the driver built the number in their logos.
Now the governing body slid into the Moto2 and Moto3 class before a small bar. Starting from next season, all double-digit numbers must be at least 10 mm apart, and it means that they can’t be reflective of the background.
