19 rider SBK field?
World Superbikes was regarded the more exciting series over the past few years. Strong grids with plenty of manufacturers with anybody having the chance to win was one of the strongest appeals, but next season we will only see 19 full time riders.
The 2013 grid is down five riders from 2012. The grid is made up by seven Italian riders, with GB the second most represented with five. France’s three and Spain and Germany are represented by one rider each.
Kawasaki, BMW and Aprilia manufacturers will have 4 riders each, followed by Ducati who has three, while Honda and Suzuki will have two bikes each.
