AMA hires new CEO

Former International Speedway Corporation (ISC) executive Michael Gentry has today been appointed the new AMA Pro Racing Chief Executive Officer.

Gentry, the former president of Americrown – will oversee the day-to-day running of the AMA.

In a statement AMA Pro Racing Managing Board Members David Atlas, Tom Bledsoe and Chris Harris said “We believe Michael’s operational skills will benefit AMA Pro Racing.”

“This move represents a significant step in our pursuit to continue growing the sport of motorcycle racing in this country. We would like to welcome Michael to the AMA Pro Racing family and we are excited to have him as a part of our team.”
